Official B.O.B. Website coming soon

We are in the process of designing a website for B.O.B. While I fully realize MySpace is more hip, I've always felt we need as many web-presence's as possible.

Merch...

We are excited to announce that we will have official Bag of Babies t-shirts soon! Closet Punk Clothing from Baltimore will be printing up 30 of them, which will be white shirts featuring the Bag of Babies logo that Chris from Malicious Intent Records (RIP) designed for us. We will be giving a bunch away, plus selling some at LOW prices. We also have one B.O.B. hat and one exclusive shirt to give away to the sickest motherfuckers at the show, so you definitely don't want to miss out on your chance to score some awesome threads.

More details on the show will soon be available, so keep checking back!

We are also working on finishing up "Prenatal Fecal Ingestion", which is sure to be loads of fun!

Summer...

Well it is almost over. Bag of Babies has been busy writing new music and honing our old stuff. We all have various other things going on, but BOB is always a main focus. No new shows planned, but we will be getting out there shortly.

An amazing time...

Well, our first show came and went in a flash. The crowd was incredible, the bands were awesome, and we had a BLAST! We are proud to have B.O.B. as a member of The Union, and appreciate them welcoming us into their family. Thanks to everyone who came out, and the great bands that played. Be sure to check them out:

The 13th

Tis Friday the Thirteenth, and everything seems to be okay so far. I've never really believed in "luck", but do feel that if you are in close proximity to the fellow below your day has probably taken a turn for the worse...

B.O.B. hopes you have a terrific day.

Idiots

Can't really blame the babies completely for this one, but you gotta admit if they were in bags this problem would certainly be reduced.

Going to the movie theater is a rare occurrence for me. I gotta really be able to learn something from a flick in order to drag my crusty ass out in public to view vomit on a "silver" screen. I got convinced that The Strangers would be a good return on investment, and I have to admit it was great... what I saw of it. Right after the previews there is an announcement with screaming babies, ringing cell phones, and talking people that pleads everyone to be courteous and to not interrupt the movie...

So directly after this announcement, I hear a baby coughing about 2 rows back. You gotta be kidding me, right? So the movie starts, and this baby continues to cough, coo, and just all around make noise. It's a fucking R rated movie. Why is there a baby here? The parents are fucking idiots for bringing the child, and the theater employees and fucking idiots for letting them buy tickets and enter the theater for an R rated movie all the while carrying a baby.

Needless to say we left, got a refund, and waited outside the theater and followed them home. I feel a whole lot better now...

Stimulate This

So how many of you have received an "economic stimulus" so far? I have, and I am spending it on a shit-ton of bags. Did you know that in the world there are 42.64 deaths per every 1,000 live births? That's a lot of bags needed for those babies.

While I was researching these various statistics, I happened across an interesting Realtime Death Toll Counter (which is apparently based on statistics from the World Health Organization). In the little over 3 minutes and 30 seconds it took for me to peruse the site, 360 people had kicked the bucket due to various reasons ranging from Infectious Diseases like AIDS and Leprosy to others like Road Traffic Accidents and War.

Make up your mind.

I was conversing with the people that are... ahem... "living" in my basement. While we do talk about many different things, they always wonder what the weather is like, y'know, "Out there." Such curious creatures...

So I have been keeping them informed of the amount of rain we've been having in the area recently, and they always seem to bitch and moan about it. It made me think back to last summer when they bitched and moaned about the lack of rain we were having. When it's raining, they wish it wasn't. When it isn't, they wish it was.

"Gee… will it ever stop raining?"
"Man... we sure could use some rain, huh?"

Make up your fucking mind!! Needless to say, dinner was withheld for a few days and they got the hose extra good.

Which brings me to my main point- What does it matter to them? It's not like they'll ever go outside again anyway...

BOBB?

Bag Of Babies Blog? Say it ain't so...

A little introduction first: I am Bukkake Balboa, M.D. I play guitar in the Death Metal / Grind band called BAG OF BABIES. Horrible samples of our music can be heard on our Myspace here. Our recordings are very lo-fi right now, but I want to get an 8-track issued soon enough.

We are very new to this "BLOGGING" thing, but we want to make sure that our message reaches every corner of the world. And so, we are utilizing these here interwebz in order to accomplish that.
